2026 | Memoirs of Space Pirate
In the silence of space, Space Girl sits alone on an asteroid, folding a paper crane as others drift around her. It is a quiet moment in a universe moving steadily toward Parabellum. The image draws inspiration from the Japanese tradition of folding one thousand paper cranes, a practice associated with hope, healing, and the granting of wishes.
In Never Fold, the act of folding takes on another meaning. Space Girl continues her delicate work, seemingly undisturbed by the vastness surrounding her. The title suggests a contrast between the paper she folds and her own refusal to give in.There is no indication of how long she has been there, how many cranes she has folded, or what she might be wishing for. Those questions remain unanswered.
At its heart, Never Fold explores the relationship between hope and perseverance, and the quiet determination to continue when the future is unknown.
